We bring capacity and experience in the training on natural resource management and qualitative research areas which may contribute capacity building for implementation on sustainable forest management certification and timber legality verification through out the country.
We also specializes in the fields of development of natural resource and environmental management plans; development of forestry management plans; forest inventory and assessment; chain of custody assessment for forest products; database and IT system on forest products; social economy appraisal and analysis; forest rehabilitation and plantation; GIS and spatial analysis; capacity building design and implementation. It offers experienced team leaders and specialists for short-long term assignments and provides access to a big network covering all aspects of natural resource management, planning and protection in Indonesia.
Our present activities at present comprise of proposal development, qualitative research, written policy briefs, providing trainers and event organizers for trainings. Development proposal for Timber Administration Online was jointly made with PT. MULTI WAHANA WIJAYA, a forest concession company based in Papua. The proposal was submitted to ITTO. The second proposal was made jointly with SUCOFINDO in relation to climate change project in Indonesia. In Agriculture sector, The PENTA also provided excellent contribution during Tissue Culture Technique Training on Plant Propagation Industry as a TRAINER supported and funded by PT. Bumindo Hastajaya Utama. Professional staff from PENTA has provided lectures on chain of custody to timber bussineses. The FSC chain of custody training was hosted by Ministry of Trade in Jakarta. Although the PENTA was established in 2008, the member staff of the company has worked with national and international projects hosted by bilateral or multi-lateral organizations such as GTZ, UN, EU, RECOFTC, and CIFOR. PENTA just finished a comprehensive study on the impacts of members of Ministry of Forestry towards United Nations, International Convention, and International Organizations. The study was hosted by Ministry of Forestry.
